Longboard Pinot Noir 2019

The 2019 Longboard Pinot Noir makes an elegant and dazzling entrance with its lush texture and fine structure. Lifted black currant, cherry and plum notes on the nose and a soft elegant palate that offers black forest fruit characters and fine grained French oak tannins. It is a fine example of our cool climate region, with weight, depth and excellent length of flavour. Great cellaring potential.

Like the image of renowned Longboard rider, Rex ‘China’ Gilbert enjoying a lazy ride on a gentle swell, the Longboard range is there to help you unwind or to enjoy over dinner.  Long in flavour and impact, each variety on offer in this range is a finely crafted example of its type, priced for everyday and ready to drink now.

“94 points + Special Value” 2018 Vintage

“Clones MV6, 777 and 114, 30% whole bunch fermentation and maceration, matured for 12 months in 1-3yo French barriques. Packs a punch with dark berries/stewed plums, spices and ripe tannins. Obviously picked when ripe, not too late.  Its best years are in front of it.”
James Halliday, Halliday Wine Companion 2021

Bellbrae Estate

“Best Wineries of the Regions” + “5 black stars”

“The Surf Coast area of Geelong enjoys a slightly milder climate overall than other areas of the Geelong viticultural region. Being so close to Bass Strait, Bellbrae Estate experiences a maritime influence that reduces the risk of frost in spring and provides more even temperature ranges during summer – ideal growing conditions for producing elegant wines that retain their natural acidity.”
