Our winemaker has always been enamoured with the wines of the Northern Rhone area of France, and this Syrah is soft and supple on the palate. Characters of plum and raspberry are integrated with savoury notes of spice, black pepper and cedar oak. A silky, medium-bodied wine with a deliciously long palate. Maturation in new and one-year-old French oak, balanced with silky tannins give this wine structure to cellar well for about 10 years from vintage.
This Syrah is easy to pair with food, yet so moreish that you will want to keep enjoying it long after your meal. Perfectly suited to the Surf Coast lifestyle.

One-week extended skin contact and matured in a mix of new and older French oak for 12 months. Deep ruby red. Displays blue and black fruits with allspice, licorice and violets. There’s a lot going on! Just as good on the medium-bodied, seamless and long palate. I like the small amount of reduction and you know, as good as this is now, it’s also built to last.
