“Grown on 40 year old vines. Awarded Champion Wine at the 2014 Langhorne Creek Wine Show. Matured in 100% French oak, 40% of which is new. Strong, bold and vivid. Lively for a cabernet. Flavours and aromas of pure blackcurrant, smoky vanillin oak, musk and violet. Healthy serve of eucalypt/mint character. Smooth through the palate, succulent through the finish. Fruit-filled tannin. Crowd-pleasing but well structured and balanced. In short, it’s very good.”
